Adopt a American Staffordshire Terrier / Mixed (short coat)
Faith the Dog needs a home
Faith’s Current Update (10/13/2016):
Faith is a stunning girl who doesn’t just love you, she loves you with every fiber of her being and she LOVES to give hugs. That’s right, if you kneel down, Faith will put both of her paws on your shoulders and go in for a hug. Cuddling is her favorite thing in the world! This gorgeous blue and white American Staffie Mix (we think she has a lot of staffie in her) who fits the description of pocket pittie to a T is SOOOOO ready for her furever home! She would make a fantastic family dog, and would also do well with an active person. She can be a lazy couch potato or we feel she has the potential to be your running partner (just maybe not marathon type running, LOL). Faith has been through a lot and now that all of her puppies have found wonderful furever families of their own, it is definitely her turn!

Faith’s Rescue Story:
Faith, along with her mother, came to PMAR from the shelter after being surrendered from a situation where we will never have full knowledge of the truth as to her life before PMAR, but we do know that her injuries and scars speak VOLUMES…Maybe she was a fighter or being tested to be a fighter, maybe a bait dog, maybe just one too many times in a fight with other dogs in the home? Faith had open wounds, one so severe it was down to the bone. It was stated that she wasn’t brought to the shelter for a week after she sustained her injuries...A WEEK. And on top of it all, she and her mama, Eden, were confirmed pregnant. We may not know the why, how, who, etc. of her past but what we do know, this will NOT happen to Faith again. She is now safe in the loving care of PMAR, will be tended to and supported in a warm and caring environment. She will never have to feel the cruelty of her past again and we will do all we can to help her find her furever family. Faith is estimated to be about 1.5 years old, has proven to be a love bug that seeks loving and gentle attention from her foster family and her happy tail is nonstop. Amazing considering what she has been through.
