Adopt a Doberman Pinscher / Shepherd / Mixed (short coat)
Duke of Earl the Dog needs a home
Adopting A Shelter Dog
These dogs come without background histories/ past medical information. We present these dogs as we have observed in relationship to age, size, breed, behavior, housebreaking, crate training, good with children, cats, dogs, and strangers. Dogs may present themselves differently in different environments, therefore The Dog Spot Rescue, their agents, volunteers, can not guarantee behavior, age, size expectations, breed, house Training, destructive behavior tendencies, and/or medical issues. All dogs from shelters have been subjected to pathogens from the shelter level which can materialize into disease in the future. Each adopter must observe for themselves pre-adoption and make decisions for themselves the suitability of said dog and their tolerance levels for transitional time when adopting a shelter dog. We ask that each adopter take their time when making the choice to bring home a rescued dog.
He is crate trained, housebroken, has done very well with the children here, loves our volunteers, both men and women. He is a dog who needs continued social opportunities to keep his mind open to new people and experiences.
He can bark at things that go bump but we have an off button with a quick "Let it go." Duke wants to be a good boy and has been very responsive with us.
Adoption is $400.00 and includes his neuter, shots, rabies, heart worm test, bordetella, de worming treatment, flea meds applied and a chip. He comes with a 30 day post adoption trial for suitability.
If interested in meeting Duke, please contact us for a meet and greet by e-mailing us at: [email protected]. Be sure to fill out an on line application first at: thedogspot.rescuegroups.org.
Paws crossed that Duke is that special one!
