GETS ALONG WITH OTHER CATS/DOGS? Ignores dogs in neighborhood. No dogs in foster home. Gets along well with other cats in household. Wants to interact more and more with them given he is remaining indoors more and more.
CHILDREN: How is the cat around children under 12? Gets along well with children age 4 and above. Very patient and tolerant of being held.
SPECIAL NEEDS: Binx has been an outdoor cat most of his life. This has improved immensely with work.
TRANSPORT ONLY: Is this foster related to anyone else going on transport. No. Will not make a good transport cat. Pants excessively when crated for vet trip or meeting with case manager for shots
BIO: Binx was abandoned along with his mother and sibling by family when they moved from the neighborhood. Binx is a big, strong, healthy adult male who would make a great indoor-outdoor mouser or barn cat. He does come in, but because he's lived his entire life up to now completely on his own outdoors, he's a better candidate for indoor-outdoor. That said, he is friendly and affectionate, and gets along with other cats and dogs. He does like to be stroked and will gladly settle into a nice warm spot indoors during cold weather. He is a smart and loyal kitty. Need a panther to keep vermin at bay? Binx is your man!
