Hi, I’m Tulip and I’m clearly adorable and super sweet! I am about 5 years old and weigh 13 pounds.







My foster mom loves to sit with me on the couch and pet me; I love it, too! I’m a bit shy right now, but with time I will soon know that people can be good to me. I am slightly treat motivated and would much rather have praise and be pet to tell me how much of a good girl I am.







I

have not had any accidents at my house and I don’t need to be called to come, because I’m already right there next to you waiting for you to pet me and pick me up! I love to follow my foster mom around and I’m a really great support when it comes to tasks around the house. I’m really good at supporting my foster mom do laundry and clean the house, and am excellent at supporting her when she sits on the couch!







I sleep in my kennel at night and during the day when my foster family is gone. I don’t love going in the kennel, but I’m still respectful and quiet when I do need to be in it. I’m a pretty quiet pup in general and my foster family hasn’t heard me bark yet. My foster mom says once I find my family, I will be a great candidate to be a free roamer and can even keep the couch warm for you since I am potty trained and just like to nap!







I don’t mind cats or other dogs and I really love playing with my fellow toy fox terrier foster sister Quinn (also up for adoption). We have a great time playing in the yard together. My dog friends are awesome and I would love one in my furever home, but if that's not possible, I will need to have someone home with me most of the time. I just love being around people or dogs!







I also have two human foster brothers who live with me and I like them. I’m small and loud noises and movements are still sometimes a little scary to me, so it would be best that any kids I am around be dog savvy or calm.







If you are looking for someone to support you with household duties, someone to sit in the back yard with in the nice weather, or a friend to sit with you on the couch and watch TV, I’m your girl!




 



 




Many of our dogs are rescued from commercial breeders where they spent their lives getting comfort from their canine friends.  In turn, most require another companion dog in their forever home in order for them to feel safe. If you are interested in a particular dog, and do not currently have a dog residing with you, please understand that your home might not be the right fit for many of our dogs.

ADOPTION EVENTS:  




Adoption events are updated as the foster home RSVP's to attend. Check back for updates on which events they will be attending. Please understand that all of our pets are in volunteer foster homes and sometimes "life" happens and the foster family cannot make it to their scheduled adoption event. If you are traveling from a far distance to meet a specific animal, please understand we cannot guarantee event attendance. You may wish to consider applying and setting up a private appointment. Private appointments are only scheduled after an application is submitted and approved.

FOSTER CARE:





All of our animals are fostered in individual homes or doggie daycare facilities. While they are in our care, they are part of our families and given lots of love. We work on training, crate-training and socialization prior to adoption. Each animal's behavior is evaluated and we have a sense of its temperament and personality. We look for adopters who will give each animal the wonderful life and permanent home that he or she deserves. NUTRITION:





Nutrition is vital to the rehabilitation and life-long health of our pets.  All of our foster animals are fed a premium diet such as NutriSource, Canidae, Orijen, Nature's Variety, Fromm, Pure Vita, Stella and Chewy's, Primal, or balanced raw diet.  All adopters are required to continue providing premium diets for the life of the animal.
