My name is Lola and I am a 55 lb., 7 year old English setter/boxer mix. I am spayed and up to date on all my shots. I am housebroken and crate trained. I am pretty smart, I think, because I know commands like: sit, shake, hug, lay down, roll over, speak, inside voice, stay, and catch. Not bad, huh?
I love all people, but I can get a bit protective of my home and my people. I love attention! Especially from people. I enjoy other dogs but I do better with dogs my size (large and medium dogs). I do not like little dogs.(so yappy, am I right?)
I like to play catch or tug-o-war, or go out for a run, hopefully you can keep up for a while. But I do love my down time and will love lounging around the house and keeping an eye on things
I will bark at squirrels and when someone comes to our door. Not sure what I would do if a squirrel came to the door! I have lived in apartments so I get used to the noise quickly. I would do better with someone who is home as I can get a bit nervous when I am home too long by myself. I have plenty of love to give and hope it will be to my forever home.
