I was the last cat rescued, along with more than 60 other cats that were left behind without food and water on a foreclosed property. How was I to know that the people who came to get us were taking us someplace better? I held out for a long time evading capture, but now I'm so glad that I allowed myself to be caught. I get to spend the winters in a warm foster home with friends. In the summer, we love to sit in the windows, soak up the sun, and take in the fresh air.
Here I get all the food I need (I love food!) and have lots of toys and sunny perches for lounging. I absolutely love to play and can't resist a waggling string or wand toy. This is how a cat is supposed to live! I do let my foster mom pet me only at mealtime and I like to play with her. But other than that, I don't find much need for physical contact with people. If you are looking for a cat that doesn't demand too much in the way of affection, then you might consider a shy cat like me. I love other cats so would like to go home with my friend Momo. She is very affectionate with people once she knows you. It will just take us a little while to warm up to a new place together.
