This exuberant enthusiastic Girl seeks active/interactive Griff-savvy home. Big run on trail/in field, will run out of sight and not look back, if not called in while in visual range (but, IS starting to 'get it'!! with daily training). Loves to play with her toys --- and tag/hide and seek/chase, Griff runs all around the property. Doesn't know her own mass or strength, so best in home with adults who understand, and can work with her on moderating her behavior! - or are strong enough to play back!
Perfect house mate, house-trained, doesn't disturb anything (but I wouldn't leave a ham sandwich on the counter!), loves to just hang out as much as she loves to run; does run the critters on the property (or watches them out the window from her perch). Has full house and property privileges, at will, with dog door. Not leash trained, yet -- but of course, prefers running free with us on the trails (2-3 hours daily, on trail, 75% off-leash). Health exam/full blood and fecal and HW panels are normal/negative, current all vaccinations.
Bonds strongly and easily - is a very affectionate, silly, strong-willed typical Griffon houligan! Knows sit/down/shake (very cute!) - learning 'stay', and working on leash training: we will be starting group Obedience Class on 1/8/18. We request a phone and in-person interview, application (tahoewarf.com), home visit, adoption contract, fee to rescue (to help cover some of the above DVM costs) -- and follow up.
