There are numerous aspects you have to consider when taking care of a cat, especially when it comes to nutrition. But you need to see this from a different perspective. Cats are sensitive creatures just like humans, with plenty of necessities when it comes to maintaining a proper health and condition. And feeding is one of the most important aspects that affect their overall well-being. For more information please visit our website at www.animalshelter.org
Removing Pet Urine SmellThe unexpected may happen and it is very possible that you will find a yellow spot on the floor or on your favorite carpet in the living room. Adopting a Pet from a ShelterAdopting a pet is a noble gesture. You are basically the savior of that soul and you are responsible for his life from that point forward. The post-adoption time is a real treat for anyone that is looking for a furry companion. However, the pre-adoption process can be a real nightmare for those that do not know much about adoptions. Protecting Forest AnimalsWildlife living in forests are having a hard time these days, with clear cutting trees for new housing development that is going on. Some species are slowly becoming extinct. That means that our rapid growth might cause the complete disappearance of certain types of animals. Surely we, as responsible individuals, can do something about this. But what is there to be done? Lizzie is one of those dogs that may have not had an easy start but still has an incredible outlook on life. She came to be a part of Satchels after she and her litter of 8 pups came into animal services. Animal Services needed help so they called us.
All of Lizzie's puppies have been adopted and Lizzie awaits her turn.
Lizzie does have thunderstorm phobia and was probably an outdoor girl before she came to us. She was in a foster home for awhile and lived with two other dogs and small children. She was excellent there. However, at the shelter she is very selective of her canine companions.
She loves any attention from people and is truly wonderful with children. She enjoys walks and here favorite thing is car rides. She is very affectionate and loving. However, Lizzie does not like most other animals. She would do best in a home with a savvy dog owner with no other animals. She can be an escape artist if there is something on the other side of the fence that she is interested in.
If you would like to find out more about Lizzie, please call us or send an email to: [email protected]
If Lizzie is not the right pet for your family you can still adopt a pet.
