Stuckey the Dog needs a home
Stuckey is 11 weeks old female (as of the first of Feb), Catahoula/Pyrenees, white with faint fawn colored marking, one green eye and a blue eye, 18 lbs. Will be a large dog.
Will definitely need a home with a fence and owners familiar with Great Pyr's.
Super-duper adorable and sweet. Loves people and gets along with other dogs. Medium energy.
Favorite toys: her own tail, plastic hook, plastic hanger, bathmat, old slipper, just about anything that wasn't meant to be a dog toy. Loves to snuggle and rip around the house occasionally cutting flips and sliding on her butt.
Very attached to people. Welcomes strangers without fear. Hasn't been around small children or cats.
Knows sit and come, working on down and stay. Was a little protective of her food, but getting better with correction. Think she may have had to fight for it in the past. She was a little on the skinny side. Responds well to correction and commands with treats.
Not quite house trained. Crate trained after one night of no sleep and lots of screaming at the top of her lungs. No seperation anxiety and handles being alone in the crate for 4 hour intervals. Allows nails to be cut with some distraction. Hates baths.
Not quite leash trained. Will walk with you until she gets afraid. Not used to cars yet but rewards are getting her there.
