Update on our sweet Dottie
Dottie has a stand-out personality that is full of love for both humans and other animals. Her favorite place to be is in a room with other people, and she loves being the center of attention. Her goofy character will also make you laugh! The first time you see her sitting half on/half off the couch, you're bound to at least smile. Dottie's energy levels will go up and down throughout the day, and how active she is really molds to who she is with. If you like laying on the couch, she'll curl up right next to you (particularly if there's a sunbeam around). On the other hand, if you like being active, she'll jump right up and start playing hide and seek or chase with you. You can even take her on walks through your neighborhood or take her to a park to run around and play. What she needs the most is a family that will give her lots of attention and will love her to pieces. She loves her humans so much that she'll really miss you while you're gone, particularly on long trips, but that also means she'll be extra excited to see you when you get home! She may take some time to adjust to a new place, but once she finds a family to love, she will be a wonderful addition to your life.

Dottie has had a rough start to life due to not fault of her own, but that is not stopping her from embracing the best life has to offer. She is a gentle, playful, and happy girl whose snuggle game is A+. She loves having lots of toys to choose from and loves it when her foster momma gives her tasty treats. Great with cats and her foster mom's cat even loves her back!! Ideal household would have a fenced in backyard with someone who likes to throw her toys and chase her around (she loves the younger male in her foster home--she gets a case of the "zoomies" whenever he comes home).
