Tessa the Dog needs a home
Please note we do NOT adopt to homes with small animals including small dogs. No Exceptions.

Tessa
Female Shepherd/Husky Mix, 8 months old, and 48 pounds. She is fully house trained, crate trained (sleeps all night), and knows sit and down. Her foster home is working on more commands and socializing. She rides well in the car, walks well on the leash, and plays fetch for as long as you can keep up. Loves, loves, loves tennis balls. She is a fast runner when she plays. She prefers to be indoors. If left alone, she will likely be prone to digging. Tessa is getting to know other dogs and is playing well with them. She has not had much socialization, so her new home will need to continue to work on socializing as she is fearful of new situations. She is also cautious of men and takes longer to warm up to them. She is very loving and likes to belly up for rubs! Her favorite people are her human foster sister and brother who are 18 and 13, both very dog savvy. We would not recommend Tessa for a home with young children due to her fearfulness at this time.
