Hi, I'm Silver and my foster mom says that I am a super affectionate cat who loves attention! I will follow you around, in hopes that you'll be doing something interesting, or be bored enough to give me some extra attention. If you decide it's time to rest, I'll be ready to give you some cuddles.

I joined Ruff Start Rescue from a friendly cat colony, here in Minnesota. The family who lived on the property started with only a couple unaltered cats and quickly found themselves with 30-40. They reached out for help, and Ruff Start was able to place many cats in foster homes. We are all spayed/neutered now and ready to find families of our own!

Silver loves to be around her friend, Tazz. Silver and Tazz are FIV positive.
 FIV is a common immune virus that eventually causes their immune system to be weakened, though they are in good health now and very loving and affectionate just the same.

They would love to stay together if possible. We should be only cats in the home, to reduce the risk to other non infected cats.

All Ruff Start dogs and cats are spayed/neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccines, microchipped, dewormed, and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm prevention (dogs) as well as heartworm tested (dogs).

Ruff Start Rescue is a foster based rescue. Animals are located in homes throughout Minnesota. We do not have a facility where animals are kept.
