Benny the Dog needs a home
Benny was rescued as a very young pup by wonderful folks who have given him a lot of training, schooling, socialization and who learned how to be excellent doggie parents. He lived with an infant who is now 1-1/2 yrs. Only issue was that he and his brother did not get along. Very tough decision to let him be in a different environment. B&B will know more in a few weeks. End of March, we are trying him out as a solo dog and will gradually introduce him to potential companions.
He is stunningly gorgeous, 50#, 4 years young and so smart, athletic, and excellent in many ways. We will be very careful in his placement as we want him to succeed and join a family where he will be a good fit. He likes a job - and is a good worker; knows many commands and is very responsive to his people.

Update April 2017- We've introduced him to other dogs in the exercise yard, and he's done very well. He's been playing with all sizes of dogs. yea! Loves to play catch.
***Update 11-19-17 One of our workers has done a lot with him and he has become a very obedient and playful boy. He will play with toys when you want him to, and when you give the commands he will stop and sit or lie down. He knows a lot of things! Great dog.
