Vinnie the Dog needs a home

Vinnie, a rottweiler/hound mix, was originally rescued 4 years ago as Bandit from Tracy Animal Shelter.




  • Currently about 8 years old and approx. 100 lbs.

  • Big boy with a gentle soul.

  • Needs an active home

  • Lived fine with another dog

  • Has lived with 3 cats but would sometimes chase so interactions should be monitored

  • Knows basic commands and loves car rides

  • House trained and loves his kennel

  • Does have some anxiety/nervous energy so calm, confident owner would be ideal for him



??Adoption fee: $250 includes altering and current vaccinations.  Additional donations always welcome

We hold adoption events from San Francisco to the South Bay. Most dogs will be ready to go home the day of the adoption event. We accept credit cards and cash for our adoption fees. While adoption events are a great showcase for these amazing dogs, you don't need an adoption event to adopt a dog.  Check out our adoptable pups, submit an application, and then meet them at their foster home!
