Toby is an 8 year old neutered male who was brought to the Vet after loosing his ability to walk. The Vet found him to be morbidly obese and diabetic. He was suffering from neuropathy in all 4 legs. His owner could not afford diabetes medication and felt it best to surrender him. He was welcomed into the home of a Vet Tech who gave him insulin injections daily with measured feedings. He began to loose weight and his glucose level became regulated. Three months later he was off insulin all together and is no longer on a diabetic diet. He has regained the use of his legs and is quite the charming fellow. He would prefer to be in a quiet home with pets who are relaxed and respectful of him. He loves to play with his turbo scratcher along with toy mice. Snuggling has become his specialty as well. Toby is an all around easy going guy who just had a dental cleaning and is looking for a home to call his own. One that will keep his weight in check so he can stay diabetes free.
