He is a high energy dog. Loves to play and go for walks. Needs a lot of attention. He is a wonderful dog and companion. He knows several tricks and loves to show off. ( Sit, lay down, watch me, Knuckle bump, shake, up- to jump into the car) He is very smart and learns quickly.
He is friendly with kids and adults after getting to know them. He gets along with small dogs but needs to be the alpha dog. He barks and raises his hackles when meeting strange dogs. He does not like cats. He loves to chase rabbits, squirrels or anything small. He also loves to chase a laser pointer on the ground.
He is housebroken, loves to sleep with a human, and will walk on a leash but due to his high energy, he needs constant reminders to walk with his human partner and not pull on the leash. When he gets excited or is confused he barks and chases his tail.
