Looking for a professional lap warmer and purr machine? Harvey is your man for the job. Harvey is a handsome middle aged (approx 8 year old) MN brown tabby. He loves love. He's extremely laid back and goes with the flow. Not much phases this big guy. He's great with kids and not scared of dogs (he kind of acts like a dog because he's not a scaredy cat). He is well trained with his letterbox and not picky with his kibble. Harvey is feline leukemia positive which means he should not be around other cats. He has been living with feline leukemia for many years so he can have a long lifespan ahead of him despite the fact that he has this virus. He is robust and thriving! Harvey is Feline Leukemia positive (FeLV+), which means there are a few additional requirements for his care: he must be an indoor only cat; he needs to be an only cat unless the other cat/s in the household are also FeLV+, and he needs access to routine and emergency veterinary care as he may be more susceptible to illness than a cat who is not carrying the virus would be. He would be a great cat to add to your household if you already have a dog, as the virus is not transmissible across species.
