Rooney the Cat needs a home
Meet Rooney! This beautiful polydactyl tortoiseshell girl is about 3 years old. She was found as a stray in Rochester and rescued by the Verona Street Animal Society. At first she was extremely frightened and would not allow any handling but, at one point she must have been someones pet because she has a microchip. Rooney has been with us since November of 2016 and is making incredible progress! She now allows petting and brushing! She chrips and mews for attention. She is still nervous with fast movements and does not like to be held yet. With time, patience and a lot of love we know Rooney will be someones favorite life long friend. Rooney likes Fancy Feast Broths Classic Collection. She seems to get along well with other cats. She would do best with an experienced cat parent, in a quiet adult only home with no small children or dogs.
