Scooter the Cat needs a home

CatRangers, "Because Cat Special Forces Just Doesn't Sound Right"

Every once in awhile some owner surrenders are so painful and can make anyone's heart melt.

This very old man came into Cat Rangers earlier this week. Tears in his eyes, he explained that he lived in the projects and had 2 cats. One he had for 13 years and sweet Scooter (AKA Little Man) when he rescued him as a kitten from a busy road 5 years ago as little man was chasing a leaf in the middle of the street. Silly little kitty!!!

Long story short, this gentleman went to r
enew his lease and the management said that he could only have 1 cat!!!!! He didn't even know what to do. He loved both of his cats sooooo much and gave them everything they needed.

He walked into our rescue with the sincerest concern for his sweet Scooter in his eyes. The man explained he had to stay in the projects and had no where else to go. He didn't want to relinquish Scooter, however, he would be homeless if he didn't.

The man proceeded to show us pictures of his sweet 13 year old and Scooter. He loved both oh sooooo much. Tears continuing to well up in his eyes and start running down his cheeks.

We were all crying by this point. We asked him to please go get Scooter (Little Man) so we could see his personality. He came back with the oldest carrier (and we were like, he has a carrier, awesome). Then this beautiful baby just came out of the carrier to let our vet tech examine. He is just the sweetest kit.

I know we will stay in contact with this man, as he feels like family now. We will give him updates on sweet Little man and hopefully send him happy furrrrrever family pics!!!!

Welcome to one of our newest Cat Rangers, Scooter. He has the sweetest big eyes!!!! He is such a cutie and loves attention! Do you think you could give him the furrrrever home? FYI, he LOVES men!!!!
