Domestic Short Hair Cat

Florida R28 the Cat needs a home

Florida came to APA! with an adorable and mysteriously short tail, which makes her wag her tail in a dog-like fashion; so if you like a mellow cat who has a pup feature, she may be your gal! Florida is a young cat, and was a sweet mom to her three kittens! She is full of lots of purrs and is content chilling out. She loves being petted and will look you in the eye to let you know how much she appreciates your affection, but she isn't too sure about laps - that may change over time, however, once she is in her own home with her very own humans! She hasn't showed many signs of playfulness yet, but since she has spent most of her time being a tired momma, that may change once she is in her own home. Florida is tolerant of other cats, and nose-sniffed with the resident adult cat in her foster home. She is patient with children, too, letting them gently pet her. Given her mellow and companionable nature, Florida is best suited in a home where she can lounge around and be part of a family! Contact us today to meet her. She is such a silly, playful girl! All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
