Eros - PENDING the Dog needs a home

Eros is a VERY cute, happy, adventurous boy! He is named after the Greek God of Love because of the heart-shaped marking on his nose and because he is the biggest love-bug! Eros came to ETPBR with an elbow that had been broken and then healed without a seeing a veterinarian. When he first came to us he couldn't use that leg at all. His foster mom did a lot physical therapy and helped him get stronger and learn to use it properly. He runs and plays like any puppy now, but he will probably always have some stiffness and limp to this leg. He may develop arthritis as he gets older so he is already on joint supplements. He is a very active guy who needs regular exercise but his new family will need to be aware of if he gets sore. He will be a larger dog, probably at least 90 pounds so will be happier in a house with a fenced yard. He loves walks, hikes, water (oceans, ponds, kiddie pools or the hose). He LOVES people and has to say hello to everyone who crosses his path.

East TN Pit Bull Rescue adopts out to companion homes only. Adoptions require an application that is verified, a meeting that includes ALL members of the household, a home visit, and a trial period. We do not place our dogs in homes with unaltered pets or homes that have pets but do not have a vet. All of our dogs are placed as inside pets, spayed/neutered, micro chipped, vaccinations current, and HW- or treated within the last 6 months for heart worms by our vet. Adoption fees start at $150 for adults and $200 for pups.
