Thank you for looking at my profile, I'm Dixie! My friends at BWAR sometimes call me Mama Dixie. That's because I was rescued from a kill shelter after giving birth to 8 little puppies there! I was surrendered there with my brother and sister dogs, and we all sat there for 2 months waiting to be adopted. Then one day I had 8 puppies! Thankfully BWAR came to our rescue and I've been able to live in this amazing foster home since the fall and raise my babies. They have all since been adopted and I think it's finally my turn to find my forever home! I am about the sweetest, happiest girl you'll ever meet. I love every person I meet. Maybe too much sometimes! I will kiss you, and kiss you, and smile, and wag my tail a mile a minute. I just have such a zest for life! I am generally good around other dogs and have always seemed to ignore cats. I do good around little humans, too! All Brother Wolf animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations before adoption (if species appropriate).

Application and counseling is required prior to all adoptions.
