Adopt a Akbash / Labrador Retriever / Mixed (medium coat)
Brady the Dog needs a home
Brady and his siblings were dumped on a country road in East Texas, so we really have no idea what breeds he might be. He looks like an Akbash, but could be mixed with a Lab or something that we haven't even thought of - it's impossible to know unless we do a DNA test. If you would like to donate a DNA test so we can find out, you'll find them on our Amazon Wish List. :)
Like all healthy young dogs, Brady is full of energy -- he runs and plays hard, then naps for a bit and wakes up to wreak some havoc, chewing anything and everything that appeals to him. He also loves to shred paper. But he's still basically a puppy, after all, and that's to be expected. Brady gets along well with dogs and puppies from his siblings Gunnar and Katie to adult Pyrs who weigh more than twice as much as he does. He has no fear, and runs headlong through any open gate, with no worries about whether he might encounter someone -- human, canine, or other -- who doesn't appreciate his company. But really, how could you NOT love this puppy and be glad for him to come crashing into your space?
If you would like to meet Brady to see if he's exactly the dog you need to complete your family, please submit an application on our website at www.bluebonnetrescue.org
