Adopt a Pit Bull Terrier / Beagle / Mixed (short coat)
Billy the Dog needs a home
The runt of the littler, Billy has a face you can’t help but cover in kisses. His short little legs hop around the yard a little slower than his siblings but that doesn’t stop him from playing his little heart out. Billie loves to snuggle and is a really laid back little guy. Billy
is a Pit Bull / Beagle mix puppy.
He turned 8 weeks old in February and we are accepting applications for him now! He will probably be a large dog when full grown. We have pictures of his mom and dad, email us if you would like to see them.
The lucky person or family who adopts Billy should be prepared for the lifelong commitment of owning a large-breed dog, and the daily exercise and training that smart, energetic breeds like Pit Bulls require.
It's not easy to find homes for adult Pit Bull mixes if you find out you can't keep them once they are full grown so please make sure you are committed for life if you adopt this baby. Many landlords don't allow Pit Bulls, so we do require that you own your home to adopt this breed mix.
Billy is being fostered in San Jose. His adoption fee of $500 covers his neuter surgery and first DHPP vaccination. We will offer a $100 refund if Billy's adopter achieves his CGC (Canine Good Citizen) certification before he is 3 years old.

Tailchaser Rescue is a 501(c)3 non-profit, no-kill organization dedicated to rescuing cats and dogs from shelters where they are in danger. Our foster volunteers provide loving temporary homes for our rescued animals until they are adopted.
By adopting a cat or dog, you're making a commitment to provide love, care, and medical treatment for the life of the animal, which can be up to 20 years or more! We are committed to placing our rescued animals with families who are prepared for the responsibility of owning an animal for its entire lifetime, so that they are never again at the mercy of the shelter system.
