Dasher the Rabbit needs a home
Sweet Dasher is looking for his forever home! He is kind of shy and needs someone who can break him out of his shell. He's a bit odd, though. He prefers mostly hay, romaine lettuce, and baby carrots. Dasher isn't interested in treats like other rabbits, and will only drink from a dish.
Dasher enjoys a good head rub, and may tolerate being held for a short time, but is likely to leap out of your arms if given a chance. Any interaction with him should be on the floor where he is most comfortable. He would not make a good pet for a child, they could both get hurt. He will play with toys, and likes to run through tunnels. He especially LOVES willow tunnels, because they are delicious. He also enjoys shredding a good cardboard box, or stack of junk mail, which could come in handy!
As far as other pets, Dasher has been around other rabbits and seems friendly towards them. He has been around cats and dogs, and isn't bothered by their presence. He is not aggressive, but is quick to thump if he is displeased.
For some reason, Dasher is having a little trouble always using the litter box. He has been fostered a few times, so maybe he is just unsettled. Perhaps he is waiting for you to choose him so he can relax and be himself! Would you consider fostering or adopting him?
