Silas will make your heart just melt.  He's so loving and he has the longest whiskers and eyebrows you'll ever see. Silas was living on the streets when he was rescued and he's had a hard life, but he's safe now and just needs a loving home. Silas is also FIV+. Feline Immunodeficiency Virus positive cats can live normal lives both in quality and duration. They do take special care in terms of monitoring them for signs of infection.  FIV can be passed from cat to cat via deep bite wounds, but not from casual contact so positive cats can live with negative cats without the fear of spreading FIV as long as they get along and are spayed/neutered.
