Donner the Rabbit needs a home
The reindeer crew came to MHRR in Dec 2017 from St. Tammany Parish Animal Services. Mostly a dad and his litter, along with a single lionhead (Donner).
Formerly known as "Raider," was neutered at the shelter, this little guy is definitely quirky! He is curious but nervous, playful, but not when people or other pets are around. He's also using his litterbox incredibly well, even when out to play. He's not a fan of the other buns in the foster home, but he ignores them as long as there is a buffer between them. He looooves his toys, and goes crazy racing around and doing binkies and zoomies when he's got good traction on carpet and plenty room. He takes a while to settle in to new places and still gets moments where he spazzes out, but as he settles in he begins to cozy up to his gentle caretakers.
This pet is fostered in Destrehan, LA.
All MHRR rabbits are spayed or neutered and are now microchipped or previously tattoed with "MHR" in the ear. Adoption fees are $50 for single bunnies or $80 for already-paired rabbits. Adoption days are held at Petsmart on Millerville in Baton Rouge (see our website for dates) though we can also schedule appointments outside of those days.
