Adopt a Siamese / Domestic Short Hair / Mixed (short coat)

Mulder is a 2-year old Siamese lynx point mix, somewhat on the shy side. He was a neighborhood stray so he is used to being outdoors. Controlled outdoor access might be a good fit for him, or close supervision so he doesn't escape. He is a chow hound and not picky at all with food, as long as there is a lot of it! He can be skittish, but isn't bothered by dogs or children of any age and will "hide" (normally in plain site) if he is overwhelmed.  He would probably prefer to be an only cat; however, an older mellow cat who can tolerate a teenage boy would be a fine match.

Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes that every pet should find a wonderful, caring home. To ensure each pet finds the best possible home, we ask that you fill out an adoption application form so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application we receive and will contact you as quickly as possible. A home visit will be scheduled before any pet is adopted to a new home. Once a home visit has taken place and the adoption application has been approved, we will ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement form. Our adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter, veterinary exams, vaccinations, microchipping, and foster care. Highly requested breeds help cover the vet costs incurred by some of our other cats, enabling us to save more lives!

• $250 for purebred/highly requested kittens (6 months & under)


• $150 for purebred/highly requested cats (older than 6 months)


• $150 for kittens (6 months & under)   


• $75 for cats (older than 6 months)   


• $35 for senior cats (8 years or older)
