Hey Folks! Magnet here! I?ve been in a foster home for a while and my foster mom says I am ready to move into my forever home. She also says I?m a wonderful guy, and I deserve a loving family of my own.
A little about me:
First, my interesting name: Magnet. It means I?m magnetic, and I assure you, once you meet me, you?ll be drawn in by my handsome looks, notice the cute cock in my ear! I also have a charming personality, and a soaring intellect. I?m the Albert Einstein of labs. We can discuss the Theory of Relativity or debate the political climate, but truthfully, I?d just rather hang out with my family.
By nature, I?m a lively dude, which is indicative to my labby mix breed, plus I?m only two years old, so I?m still a youngster. Therefore, I like to be active. I enjoy doing zoomies around the backyard. If you?re a walker or runner, I?m in. I?m always up for an exploration. If you?re into games, well, I?m so there. (FYI, tugging a doggie rope is my favorite). Once I?m exercised out, I?m content curling up next to you and watch a little TV while you scratch my back, of course!
I have had some training, but I am eager to learn more, and my foster mom believes I?d do well in obedience training. (I?m extremely treat motivated) Currently, I can sit, give high fives, and I walk well on a leash. I do have a little mischievousness in me, especially when it involves kitchen counters, but I mind when told to stop.
I?m potty trained and I behave when left on my own. I won?t tear up your stuff, but I do like to have Kongs and other things to take up my time when my foster mom isn?t home. I?m very people oriented, and I?m searching for a person(s) that?ll make me an iatrical part of their family. I don?t care to be left by myself too long.
I was adopted before and brought back to the shelter, which made me very sad. I was returned because I didn?t get along with other dogs, and though I currently live with dogs, I?m not allowed around them. It?s best I be an only dog ? I may not a fan of cats either, so I need to be a single pet, but seriously, I?m all you need!
