Adopt a Domestic Short Hair / Tuxedo / Mixed (short coat)
Louie DePalma the Cat needs a home
Yup, Louie from Taxi. Why are Louie and his four littermates named after the show’s characters? Because they are truly a bunch of characters, especially Louie!
Louie is a spunky little tuxedo with beautiful copper eyes and an amazing tail. One vet thinks the litter may have some Siamese lineage because of their crazy, thin long tails. There’s no doubt Louie is in charge of this group, just like his namesake. And he’s pretty smart too. While his foster mom was still bottle feeding everyone else, Louie figured out how to eat off a plate and had all the food for himself.
Louie loves to play all day and is very active. He is curious, and tries to escape whenever he sees an opportunity. When he’s tired, he’s just as happy to curl up with his foster mom and sister, and especially likes piling in with other cats.
Louie and his siblings (Alex Reiger, Latka Gravas, Simka Gravas, and Tony Banta) were about 2.5 weeks old when they were found abandoned, under a tarp in Slavic Village. They were all scrawny, crusty, and clueless. As the runt of the litter, Louie was pretty sad looking with huge eyes in a thin body. But like an ugly duckling, he filled out nicely after eating so well and is now quite handsome.
Louie will be available for adoption in late October. He is neutered, current on vaccinations, tests negative for both FIV (Feline AIDS) and FeLV (Feline Leukemia), and has been dewormed and treated for fleas. Consider sharing your love with Louie and one of his siblings. With his high energy level, he would be happiest with a playmate his own age. He is friendly towards people, gets along well with the other kitties in his foster home, and isn’t bothered by the weird dog that lives there.
