Meet Asher! This sweet bully boy was found walking down the middle of the road all alone in Huntington, WV. He's a confident pup who loves people - good with kids, cats and some dogs. He greets new people with ease, and is not a shy dog, or afraid of noises or traffic. 

This charming boy is eager to please, and is very attentive to his handler. He's also your typical young, active bully pup who needs an owner that will commit to his daily exercise and obedience training. Asher is crate trained, potty trained, and knows the sit command, but he needs work on his basic manners, learning not to jump, pull etc.

FOSTER UPDATE - 12/15/17

Asher is an affectionate pup who is very connected to his person, and likes to follow his foster parents around the house. He's a snuggler and will curl up to sleep right next to you when you are hanging out on the couch. He needs an active home to help burn off some of that young dog energy. He's been fostered with multiple dogs and loves to play once he makes a puppy friend. He's a young dog who needs structure and boundaries, and getting daily exercise really makes a difference as far as his manners go. His foster mom in WVA would take him running, and that's a good alternative to having another dog in the home. He’s, smart, attentive, and needs a leader to guide him.

Asher was recently fostered with 2 dogs and did well with both after some time. He was good with the younger female puppy in his home right away, but took more time to gel with the older male dog. He is a young, confident dog who will establish his order in the pack, and needs a proper introduction to new dogs. He is good with some dogs, and not with others...he's not a dog park kind of dog. Asher plays a little rough and tumble like many bullies do, so he needs a comparable playmate, or would be good as only dog too.

This handsome, sweet bully boy is going to make an excellent companion for the right owner. If you are active, have a commitment to train and work with your dog, and are looking for a loving, fun pup to hike with and be your sidekick on road trips, Asher is your dog.
