Ava the Dog needs a home
This sweet angel is Ava. Ava is a 4 month old Lab mix who comes into rescue from Texas. We responded to a post in which Ava was being given away for free. Someone had found her laying on the street crying and unable to walk. We rushed her to our vet partner where we found out that this poor girl had been shot multiple times. It takes a certain kind of evil to be able to inflict such a horrific action on an innocent puppy like Ava. One of the bullets is lodged in her vertebrae and she has been transported to a specialist in NY. She started Physical Therapy right away and is already starting to use her legs! This precious girl has an immense amount of fight in her and we will do everything possible to help Ava in her recovery. She is just a sweet and friendly as can be and we can’t wait to find Ava the most amazing forever family where she can have the wonderful life she deserves. She needs a special someone who can fill her life with so much unconditional love that she forgets all about the horrors in her past. When medically appropriate, Ava will be spayed and she will be up to date on vaccines prior to placement in her forever home.
