Comiskey the Dog needs a home
Comiskey is an exceptional dog! He has one of the calmest and sweetest demeanors, and he solely is looking to love. Comiskey was pulled from a shelter in a terrified state. He spent the first day with us at A New Leash on Life huddled in a corner, shaking. He slowly started to wag his tail in response to positive praise, and then he realized the power of snuggling. He now wants to be with his person, he wags his tail in response to praise, petting, treats, other dogs, etc! He is a submissive dog, and he has been tested around dogs of all other sizes, kids, and the elderly. He tucks his tail and folds his ears back at first encounter with new people or animals, and then begins to wag his tail! Comiskey is trust-worthy in the house. He was scared to use the dog door at first, but with encouragement, he uses that fantastically now. This little guy looks like a puppy, but he is full-grown at around 13 pounds, and he is ready to make the best dog ever for a family. Come meet him at Tails! Return Policy: Foster homes save many lives, and as soon as one gets adopted, they often get another one. So spaces fill up fast! If you wish to return your adopted dog, please email [email protected] and be prepared to bring him/her to adoption events until a forever home is found. In some cases their previous foster can take them back. They cannot be given away, sold, or turned in to another agency. You are responsible for keeping your dog and bringing him/her to adoption events until we find a suitable home to adopt them.
