Ivy the Dog needs a home
Ivy arrived at a shelter after being hit by a car, and today she's blooming in foster care, recovering nicely from a fractured pelvis and head surgery. This very sweet, gentle girl wants affection, but isn't pushy about it. She'll follow her humans around the house, and when they sit down, she curls up next to them with her head in their laps. And when she gets excited or is being scratched, she wiggles on her back with little smiles and snores. So cute! And if you need an audience while playing your video games, Ivy is your girl. This lapdog wannabe is happy to sit in her foster dad's lap, watching him play Pokemon night after night. Ivy is best friends with her foster dog buddy and loves playing with the 2 year old human foster sibling. She's adjusted well to her crate and walks well on her leash. And she loves tennis balls and tug toys. This well-mannered girl hopes for a home with a moderately active family. One with a few kids and another dog to play with would be great.
