Adopt a Angora / Tabby (short coat)

Hi! My name is Max and I'm an 8-month-old kitty.  I started life on the mean streets of Vallejo. When I moved in with my foster family I was a hissing, growling ball of mean. My foster mom very patiently kept talking to me about how some day I was going to be a cuddle cat. I gave her a run for her money, but she was right. After a day of chasing my foster brothers, playing with catnip mice, and scaling the cat tree I am ready for a little canned food and then a cuddle in bed. I love a good scratch on the neck and back, I lay my head on your shoulder if you pick me up, and I am learning to enjoy kisses on my head. I will need a family that will be patient with me and understand I take a little time to trust new people. I have bonded really well with my foster mom and she is teaching me to trust other people. I am very skittish around men and small children.  I have been raised around other cats, dogs and kids.  

Currently in a foster home, you can set up a day to come meet this kitty (on Saturdays and Sundays during adoption event hours). Please give us at least a week's notice via [email protected] or (707) 258-2287 so our volunteers have time to answer messages and get back to you. Thank you!
