Hi. I'm Einstein. I am a very patient and loving boy. If you look into my eyes, you will see that I have a very ‘old soul’. I like to think things thru before I decide what is best to do. I heard somewhere, “If you want instant obedience, get a lab.” My DNA tes
t shows Mastiff and Great Pyrenees parents and grandparents (hence my double dew claws). I am extra large, 120lbs. Before my mom and dad got sick, most of my time was spent quietly guarding my family and sharing fun times with them. I haven't spent a lot of time with other dogs (except my brother and sister) but I always make friends at the dog park. I have not spent a lot of time with cats. I am content inside or outside the house all day and the only furniture I get on is my big ol’ bed on the floor. I am house trained, know how to use a doggy door, love getting dog treats and I DON'T BEG AT THE TABLE. I love attention and will let you pet me all day long if you want. I am also a master at the ‘Pyr Paw’ (especially if you are not getting my telepathic message that it’s time for petting (or playing or TREATS or …). My only real quirk is that I have been open-fed all my life. That means that I always have had food and water available in big bowls and I eat when I’m hungry but I am awfully smart and sure I can learn to eat at regular times. I think you would say I am low-maintenance. Pet me, love me, feed me and I will reward you with a lifetime of love. I am waiting for you to come get me.

All of our dogs require secure and VISIBLE fencing.

2.   FOSTER!   This is a temporary commitment that gives all needy dogs the time needed to find the loving home they deserve. Your generous decision to foster can literally mean the difference between whether they live or die. 

3.   Donate!   In upwards of $8/day, Boarding isn't cheap. A donation of just $25 can give all boarded dogs 3 whole days to find the home they have been waiting their whole life for. Vet bills. These can sometimes run into the thousands per dog.  Every   penny counts when it comes to vet bills!
