Patty is a 6-year-old, 20-pound papillon mix, who was returned to the Oak Ridge Animal Shelter in March, when her adopter couldn't handle her medical issues. Patty is diabetic and had severe cataracts. Well, thanks to a VERY generous donor, Patty had cataract surgery about 2 months ago and now she can SEE! Patty is a very sweet girl who loves being around people and being held like a baby. She is good with dogs, cats, and all people. She will need a special home with adopters who can handle her needs, which include twice-daily insulin injections, a strict diet, daily eye drops and checkups at UT ophthalmology department for the next year.
