Tallie the Dog needs a home
06/24/15 Yet another member of the Heartworm Heartthrob club, this little compact, blocky headed sweetheart is Tallie. Thought to be 4 yrs old, Tallie is a Pit mix with a maybe a splash of Border Collie. Whatever mix she is, Tallie is a gem. She has come a long way in a short time from the scared, sad girl that first walked through our doors. It takes her about 5 minutes to warm up and Tallie just want to be your best friend. She is so loving, all she wants to do is crawl into your lap and give and get kisses. We haven't had a lot of opportunities to see how she is with other dogs due to her heartworms, however she can come across as dominate, but wags her tail the whole time. The last walk she went on with another male dog went pretty well and we are confident that with proper introductions Tallie could get along with another male dog in the home.
Tallie will need some time and patients to be allowed to learn what is expected of her and to know she is safe. Her adoption fee is $145.00 She is spayed, current on vaccinations, has her annual rabies vaccination and micro-chipped. .

Adoptions are held at the O'Fallon, IL PetSmart every Saturday of the month from 11am-3:30pm and at the Glen Carbon, IL PetSmart every Sunday and the first Saturday of the month from 11am-3:30pm. We are also at Petco in Edwardsville Crossing on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month from 11:30-3:30 pm. The cats are only at Glen Carbon. Please let us know if you are interested in a pet and we can arrange to have them meet you at one of the adoption events.
