Adopt a Domestic Short Hair (short coat)
Sally the Cat needs a home
My name is Sally. I originally came from Zephyrhills with my Mom and Sister, Violet. All three of us had kittens and our owners started systematically getting rid of our babies. A neighbor heard what was happening and Pasco County Animal Control was called to investigate the abuse.
A rescue group came and removed all of the remaining cats/kittens from the home. Everyone found a home except Violet. She was a little shy. I had a home for 5 years until my owners brought home a new kitten. They returned me to the rescue group and said I wasn't using the litter box. I always use the litter box, and live with 7 other cats in my foster home. While I was adopted I was declawed as an adult, which was not allowed by the rescue group, but my adoptive owners did it anyway.
Currently I am healthy, except my right eye weeps just a little bit, sometimes. My voice is barely audible. Both of these conditions I have lived with my entire life.
I get along with cats and dogs. I am looking for a home where I can live out my life and get lots of attention. I am very sweet, passive, and enjoy the comforts of a loving home. My sister, Violet, is also available and would enjoy getting lots of attention as well.
If you are looking for a very sweet cat, or cats, please consider adopting us.
Please contact Sally at 813-493-4422. Yes, my foster's name is also Sally. Carmen named me. My first adoptive family called me Shadow, but now I'm back to just being Sally.
I was just vetted and had my teeth cleaned. Other than a build of plaque, all is well. I had my blood tested as well and all values were in the normal range.
