Adopt a Brittany (medium coat)

Well hello there! My name is Winston and I am 12 years young. You might have noticed that I am really handsome.  I am tall and handsome...no really...I'm pretty tall for a Brittany and I'm a healthy and fit 52 lbs and the vet says I have the blood work of a 6 year old!  I've been told I have a face that will melt your heart (just repeating what I've heard!).  I am a "good boy" I hear that A LOT.  I live with my foster peeps and 4 other Brittanys.  I get along with pretty much everyone but honestly....I think I'd prefer to be an only dog.  I'm getting up there and I'd like to have someone all for myself and not deal with youngin's! 

I love going for walks.  I'm great on a leash.  I like the dog park too.  Heck....I like everything except sleeping outside in a kennel!   I was an outside hunting dog before NBRAN found me.  My previous owners took me out hunting one day and just left me on the side of the road.  So (being a 'good boy') ......I waited...and I waited...and I waited...in the same spot for days (I'm very patient) but no one came.  Then some lovely people picked me up and the rest, as they say, is history.

I don't have the best teeth because someone filed down my canine teeth so I wouldn't poke the birds I retrieved, but they don't bother me.  It just makes my smile more unique! It took me a while to learn to live inside but I love it.  I love being petted and cuddled and I love my squishy dog bed. Foster mom has a doggy door and I can come and go as I please.  I am up to date on all my shots and I am neutered and micro chipped.  Being 12, I am a bit slow getting up in the mornings but as the day goes on and I keep moving, I totally get my groove back.  I don't really do a lot of stairs though...they are strange to me and it's easier on me if I don't have too.  Foster mom gives me something called Glucosamine for my joints.....I think it helps.  

So, if you'd like to be my new peeps, feel free to submit an application for me.  I'm ready to accept all serious offers.  Foster mom and I will chat then we'll contact you.  Oh...and because I'm a senior, if you are a senior too my adoption fee is only $100 (US) otherwise my adoption fee is $200 (US) to offset my vetting and to allow NBRAN to help other dogs just like me!

Winston is currently being fostered near London, Ontario (Canada) but transportation can be arranged up to 1400 miles/2200 kms with the adopter being responsible for the last 100 miles (160 kms)
