PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.
***Please read all info! Our dogs are located in Arkansas. Out of state transport is available once they are adopted. They will only be transported out of state once they have adopters ready for them!***
1/26/18 Gustov is a gorgeous German Shepherd who was found as a stray. A good samaritan found him and took him in. She loved him and took him to the vet to get his wounds (assumed to have been attacked by other dogs) treated. While at the vet, it was discovered that he had heartworms. She had him treated and got his vaccinations all caught up. She loved him and had him for several and planned to keep him. But she was diagnosed with a very serious illness and could no longer keep him. So he is now in a foster home where he is doing very well. He does well with other dogs, but does not like hyper dogs who get on his nerves. He prefers the company of more mature, calm dogs. However, he is very toy motivated and LOVES to play with toys, he just doesn't want to share his toys with other dogs. Gustav is friendly and loving with all people - he loves to cuddle! The vet estimated he is about 5 years old. He is house trained and will be neutered as soon as we can get him an appointment. For more info, email [email protected].
