Roxy the Dog needs a home
Meet Roxy, an attractive and active girl who wants nothing more than to be your best buddy. She is living in foster care with one adult and no other animals, however her friendly curiosity about other dogs she meets out on walks shows that Roxy would really enjoy a good play mate. She has not been ‘up close and personal’ with a feline friend yet, so willingness to co-exist with one would have to be tested. Roxy is affectionate with any person she meets and is a champion of belly rubs and snuggles. A forever home with children that are steady on their feet would be a welcomed environment, as Roxy would definitely soak up all the attention. Her foster mom describes Roxy as “loving, gentle, and an absolute sweetheart.”
No need for a crate with this pretty girl as she is trustworthy with free run of the home when her humans step out. She likes chewing on her doggy toys and LOVES to run and play catch. A yard of her own would be wonderful, but not necessary if she was provided with plenty of walks, hikes, or trips to the park. She is working hard on her leash walking manners with positive reinforcement training. Looking for a running buddy or friend for the cottage? Roxy would be a great one!
