Meet Buddy Love! This beautiful, funny boy was born around 11/11/2007. He has the most adorable flecks of brown freckles on his ears.
His ideal weight is around 100 pounds, and his foster mom is helping him meet that goal despite his attempts to get around it. Because he loves, loves to eat, he’s a bit plump right now!
He is totally goofy! One thing he does is twirl in circles when you go to pet him. He smiles all the time. He loves lying on a soft bed or bathing in the sun.
He is a living speed bump, except when he gets a burst of energy to chase a bunny rabbit! He loves being outside, surveying his domain.
He tolerates other big dogs, but he’s not interested in playing with them. He is not super-thrilled with small dogs, because he doesn’t like his belly being sniffed or being walked under. He wouldn’t mind being the only dog in his new home.
Buddy is house trained, leash trained, great in a crate, uses a pet door, rides well in a car, and loves going for walks. He is tolerant of cats.
He is shy about going potty on leash, and he prefers to modestly do such things in the privacy of his own yard. So he might not be the best choice for someone living in an apartment where he would be required to do his business on leash.
All of our dogs require secure and VISIBLE fencing.
Adoption Fee: $275
* Note to NW Adopters: The adoption fee does not include the cost of transport.
There are many things YOU can do to help us:
1. Adopt! If this Gentle Giant looks like the one for you, fill out an adoption application today!
2. Foster! This is a temporary commitment that gives all dogs in need the assured time to find the loving home they deserve. Your benevolent decision to foster unquestionably determines whether a loving dog gets to live or die.
3. Donate! Safeguarding these Gentle Giants result in expenses that are in upwards $8/day. If veterinary care is needed, the costs exponentiate to $1,000+ for a single dog. Every penny you donate makes an impact when it comes to vet bills! If you were to make a one-time donation of just $25, you would be adding 3 more valuable days to the life of every rescued dog and provide the chance to find the home they have been waiting for their entire life.
As always, all donations are gratefully accepted.
