REQUIRES: She needs another dog companion in home. She has the traditional JRT attitude. She is fearful of new people walking up on her. She needs a patient parent that earns her trust and then she's the most loyal and loving dog.
Kids: no, she would be fine with her own family & kids over 10, but visiting children may not respect her space and cause fear aggression.
Cats: she has been around a cat at the 1st foster home - not sure how she is with all cats.
Dogs: Best with another dog. She also wants to be around the human – she’s a companion dog..
Housebroken: Yes & knows pee pads.
Crate trained: yes but prefers not to be closed in.
Sleeping: Sleeps in room with humans,
Barking: Barks at new people and loud noises. Will quiet quickly with a correction.
Cars: rides well in car
Leash: good on leash. Short walks due to being a tripod
FOOD: dry and wet food - 2 x day
Shedding: she does shed like the traditional jrt
Grooming: home shampoo
FUN NOTES: She loves lap time, She’s smart and loves toys and playing with dogs. She will lay next to you and be a devoted BFF. Needs a bit of patience to trust you but once she does, she's a great dog companion.
FOUND: owner sold litter/L.A. SPRF got her as the last pup. We amputated her leg at 5 mos old.
