Adopt a Pointer / Labrador Retriever / Mixed (short coat)
Palmar the Dog needs a home
OUT OF STATE ADOPTIONS: We do allow out-of-state adoptions for dogs, however, the adopter MUST come to Houston to get the dog and take the dog home with them. We do not allow our dogs to be shipped. Also, our puppies can only be adopted to the immediate Houston vicinity as it takes 4 months to get them completely vetted at our vet here in Houston. We will not allow our dogs/puppies to be adopted out of the area without being spayed/neutered. We spay/neuter puppies at 4 months old.
Hello! My name is Palmar, and my foster mommy says that I am the quietest puppy she has ever met! Seriously, I have whimpered twice in the two weeks that I have lived with her, and it lasted all of about five seconds. I am an affectionate little boy and enjoy curling up in your lap. I am playful, curious, and love being with my people. I love the outdoors, and I like to explore the b
ackyard with my two big foster brothers. I’m pretty tall (long legs, you see), so I can jump right over the shortest of the two, haha! When I am not playing, I am very quiet (actually, I am always quiet) and I will curl up with my toys in my bed on the floor of the kitchen while Mom cooks or does the dishes. I really love my chew toys. I go down quietly at bedtime and sleep all through the night. I have a pretty big area in the kitchen to play in, and what is awesome is that I only go potty on the paper! I have never had an accident on the floor! I am working hard on my housebreaking, and I always go potty when we go outside. My human foster brother loves to curl up with me on the couch, and we watch television a bit before I fall asleep in the pillows. I love being his snuggle-bug!
I will be at the adoption center on 2/24, or if you are really smart you can arrange to meet me earlier, because I am the new puppy jackpot!
Palmar is a Male Pointer / Lab Mix that we estimate to be born around 11-01-17 and currently weighs 12 lbs (as of 2/14/18).
PUPPIES: Young puppies that have not had their second round of puppy shots will not be at the Adoption Center for our weekend adoption events. If you are interested in adopting a puppy, please fill out an application on our website http://www.k-9angelsrescue.org
SPAY/NEUTER: As we believe proper healthcare of one’s pet is a requirement of good ownership K-9 Angels Rescue only adopts out dogs that have been fully vetted. If the dog being adopted is not already altered at the time of their adoption, the dog will be altered within 2 weeks of adoption at our vet at our cost, with the exception of puppies which will be altered as soon as the puppy is ready.
NOTE: All dogs are officially the property of K-9 Angels Rescue until they are altered by our veterinarian.
