Kenzie is a spayed, 6 year old shepherd mix that has been enjoying the mountain life in rural Colorado.
She loves to explore the outdoors and play with her toys. She is sweet, playful, and eager to please. She
is great with people (she loves attention!) and makes an excellent companion. She knows how to use a
dog door and is familiar with basic obedience commands. Unfortunately, she does not do well in a home
with other pets. Because of this, her current living situation is not a good fit for her. Feeling threatened
and stressed by other dogs have led to her being unpredictably aggressive with the other dogs in the
home. Things have improved greatly since seeking the assistance of an animal behaviorist, but ultimately,
we believe she will be much happier in a home where she can be the only dog. We are hoping to find
someone who has experience with dogs and understands Kenzie’s special needs so she can enjoy a
fuller and happier life without the stress and trauma caused by interacting other animals.
