Tiffin the Dog needs a home
12/21/2017 Hello! I can't believe Taffy and I are still in foster care. We are the cutest duo ever and we would love to find our forever home! We are potty trained, we like to voice our opinion when it's dinner time, we love attention and security. We both love to sit on your lap, foster mom calls the both of us "creepers" because once on your lap, we gently belly walk to your face to give you lots of kisses. We are very active and love to be outside. We squirrel watch even when we are in the house! If foster mom hears a high pitched squeal, she knows we have spotted a nutter butter. |

Holy Man! Can you believe I have been in foster care almost a full year? Wow, that's a long time! And before I get started telling you all about me, I need to let you know two very important things.
#1. I need to be adopted out as a bonded pair with my daughter Taffy. We have been together since her birth and we need to stay together.
#2. Taffy and I were raised to hunt squirrels. This is not a laughing matter, we go into a frenzy when we see them. We are so fast, if we are not restrained with a harness and leash or securely fenced back yard, you may never see us again.
Ok, glad I got that off my mind. Just want to be straight forward with you.
I love to be loved. I give the longest wet kisses of any pup on earth. I will love you every day of my life and I show it in many ways. I am potty trained to do my business outside, I am also paper trained in the house. I love my crate and will gladly go there for my meals or some quiet time. I am a hearty eater and since I've been in foster care my coat has a beautiful sheen to it and has grown a lot. I don't need grooming but I will need a monthly bath to keep me smelling nice and clean.
I need more training with my leash. Like I said, if I see one of those critters with the long and fuzzy tails, I am hysterical. Actually Taffy and I sit in front of the sliding glass doors and watch the back yard for hours. Once we see a squirrel, we will screech like there is no tomorrow! Foster mom thought we were really hurt the first time she heard us screech and came running to check on us. Yep, that critter was on the fence tantalizing us. Shame on him!
I love sleeping in the big bed with foster momma. I curl up on a pillow next to her.
My adoption donation is $300.00

I have been in foster care for 5 days now, and thank goodness foster mom and dad have discovered that I need to be with my daughter, Taffy in order to be happy. It has been decided that we will be adopted out as a bonded pair so we can live our lives together like it is meant to be. We love all other pups, even big ones and we have no problem playing with the 'big' girls. We sleep in the big bed with foster mom and we are very sound sleepers.

My name is Tiffin. I am an unusual type of pup called a Coated Xolo. I am very loving and love to give kisses. I am tiny enough to fit in your coat pocket and go with you everywhere!
I came from Mexico where my owners took me to the vet to be euthanized. They no longer needed me or my daughter Taffy to be part of their family. A wonderful lady scooped Taffy and I up and took us to her rescue. We have been potty trained, love to go for walks on our leash with our person. We are now at our second foster home looking for our forever families. We would like to stay together, but if that isn't possible, we can find our very own loving forever families.
On my way into the USA on the transport, somehow my cornea got scratched. Foster mom took me to the vet first thing this morning so I could have my HW bloodwork checked, my bordatella injection and my eye checked. For the next week I am on special eye drops and internal medications to help me heal faster. I am HW negative, spayed and UTD on all my vaccinations and I am microchipped.
I am a beautiful, loving girl that needs a family of my own!
PS, Just so you know, I was bred to squirrel hunt, so I need to stay away from them!!!
