Bubbas the Dog needs a home

Bubbas is a 3 year old, 24 pound terrier mix male who was rescued from NYC ACC. He is up to date on shots and neutered. Bubbas came into the shelter as an owner surrender. Shelter notes state that Bubbas is aloof and fearful, and takes a few days to warm up to people. He is not the cuddly type, preferring to be left alone to do his thing. He doesnt like others touching his toys and food dish. Bubbas is with an experienced foster who will work with him and assess his true personality away from the shelter. Currently, Bubbas would do best in a home with no small children and as an only dog, however he doesn’t mind feline companions. If you have a quiet home and are looking to share that home with a new friend who prefers to be left alone and not bothered much, Bubbas just may be the fit for you.
