Adopt a Domestic Short Hair (short coat)

Junebug the Cat needs a home
Junebug is a spayed female cat, probably born late summer 2016. She's been living rough in a mobile home park and she's still learning to trust people. She tends to watch people with huge round eyes and run away if she's approached too quickly. However, if the shelter is quiet and we approach her slowly, we can pet her face and she doesn't protest - sometimes she even leans into it. As of June 2017, Junebug is a "project cat" - we are actively working with her every day to help her learn trust - with soft voices, gentle touches, and plenty of treats. Cats Cradle volunteers are consistently successful in winning over shy cats and no doubt Junebug will be more confident in no time.
She might blossom quickly in a foster-to-adopt home with lots of one-on-one time. If you have a quiet home and are interested in investing some love in this beautiful little girl, please call us at 701-356-7877.
Update: Junebug and Trouble are our new prom king and queen. They spend almost all of their time together in a wall box, cuddling and grooming and they are much easier to pet and interact with when they have each other. It would be nice if this little couple could be adopted together.
