Adopt a Boxer / Labrador Retriever / Mixed (medium coat)

Boxer / Labrador Retriever / Mixed (medium coat) Dog

Kara the Dog needs a home

COURTESY POST:  Kara is a pretty Lab/Boxer mix that weighs about 80 pounds.  We believe her to be about 5 years old. Super sweet with adults and children alike. She could stand to lose a few pounds, and would greatly benefit from daily walks (which she loves). She is great on leash, as well as in the car. Kara also knows her basic commands. Kara currently has a home, but her situation has changed, and now spends too many hours alone and bored. She needs a home with a secure yard, and where people will spend more quality time with her. Once properly introduced, Kara does fine with other dogs. We don’t know how she would behave around cats. Kara is house-trained, spayed, micro-chipped, and up to date on all vaccinations. If you’d like to meet Kara, please contact Lisa by phone at 760-822-5859 or Email to [email protected]

The minimum adoption donation ranges from $300 to $400. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is 100% tax deductible.

Prior to placement, all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are usually microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis. Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.

Our adoption process begins with completing an application on-line. A phone screening will soon follow, and lastly a home visit will be conducted by our volunteers.

We show our dogs at adoption events every weekend! Check our our website to see where we'll be next!
